Dr Kamal Moursy

BChD (Leeds), MFGDP (UK), Dip.Rest.Dent.RCSEng

Dr M loves teeth! For over 17 years trust remains the cornerstone of his practice. Dr M understands that visiting the dentist, particularly for the first time, can be daunting. At 268 Dental the aim is to create a comfortable environment where treatment plans are designed to suit the individual. After all you only get one smile, it’s Dr M’s job to make it the best it can be.

It was in 2011 when Dr M and his wife made the best move of their lives from England to the beautiful island of Antigua. After graduating from the University of Leeds (2003) Dr M went straight into general practice whilst still working in hospital settings. In 2011 he completed his Diploma in Restorative Dentistry in London, at the Royal College of Surgeons. Since then Dr M has been a visiting lecturer at the Guyanese Dental Association (2015 and 2017) whilst also becoming an active member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry and the American Academy of Facial Aesthetics. He is also fully registered with the General Dental Council UK.

Outside of the clinic Dr M is the Vice President of Friends Foundation (See 268 Gives). At the weekends you can find him with his friends and family at the beach, feeling very lucky to call Antigua his home.

Portia Moursy

Co-Director 268 Dental

Portia may not have exactly the same passion for teeth as Dr M but she certainly understands the importance of a healthy smile. It’s imperative in her role as Principal of the island’s international school. Portia graduated from the University of Leeds (UK) in 2003 with a degree in Politics. She then completed her teacher training a year later and worked in London schools until settling into her current role in Antigua in 2014. Although education maybe her first love, supporting and watching the family business of 268 Dental develop and grow is a joy.
